Accreditations & approvals

Independently audited standards that prove our quality, safety and integrity, so you don't have to take our word for it. Where an accreditation is still in progress, we say so.

Why accreditations matter

Verified assurance, not just claims

Anyone can call themselves professional. Accreditation is different: it means an independent third party has examined how we work and confirmed that we meet a recognised national standard, and re-checks us regularly. Below is what each mark means, which ones we hold today, and which we are currently working towards.

SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)

Scope: Security Guarding

What it is, The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is the UK government regulator for the private security industry, established under the Private Security Industry Act 2001. The Approved Contractor Scheme is the SIA's voluntary hallmark of quality. To earn and keep it, a company is independently assessed against a demanding standard covering management, recruitment and vetting, training, service delivery and a commitment to continual improvement.

What difference it makes for you

  • Confidence that our officers are correctly SIA-licensed and properly managed.
  • A recognised mark that many buyers, landlords and tenders require or prefer.
  • Our approval is publicly listed and verifiable on the official SIA register.
The bottom line: choosing an Approved Contractor means independently verified quality and accountability, not self-certification.

SafeContractor, Health & Safety (SSIP)

SSIP-recognised accreditation

What it is, SafeContractor is a nationally recognised health & safety accreditation scheme operated by Alcumus and a member scheme of SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement). It independently reviews our health & safety management systems against recognised core criteria aligned with the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the CDM 2015 Regulations.

What difference it makes for you

  • Demonstrated, independently assessed health & safety management, protecting your people and ours.
  • SSIP mutual recognition reduces duplicated safety assessments, saving time and cost.
  • Eligibility for contracts with the many major buyers who require an SSIP accreditation.
The bottom line: proven health & safety competence, and smoother access to procurement that demands SSIP.

Induction Portal, Registered Member

Workforce induction, awareness training & compliance records

What it is, Induction Portal is a UK online learning and compliance platform for security, care, construction and facilities teams. Membership gives every one of our officers an account on a structured induction and awareness training system, with a live training matrix and certificates that can be verified. Members are listed on a public register showing their status, renewal date and entitlements.

What difference it makes for you

  • Every officer completes the same induction and awareness modules, recorded against the individual.
  • Completion records, dates and scores can be produced for clients, procurement teams and auditors on request.
  • Refresher training is tracked, so awareness is renewed rather than quietly lapsing.
Membership ID: IPM-RINZSE-LGSV Plan: Business membership Member since: 19 August 2026 Renews: 19 August 2027
The bottom line: training and awareness are documented, not assumed, and our membership can be checked on the public register.

ISO 9001, Quality Management

Internationally recognised standard

What it is, ISO 9001 is the world's most widely used standard for a Quality Management System (QMS). It sets out requirements for running a business consistently and effectively: clear processes, strong customer focus, risk-based thinking, defined responsibilities and a culture of continual improvement. Certification is issued and audited by an independent certification body.

Where we are: our quality management system is documented and in daily use, and we are working through the certification process with an independent certification body. We will display the certificate and registration number here once it has been issued, and not before.

What it will mean for you

  • Consistent, repeatable service, the same high standard on every shift and every site.
  • Documented procedures that reduce errors and make issues easy to track and resolve.
  • A structured focus on customer satisfaction and ongoing improvement.
The bottom line: a documented, externally audited commitment to quality, often a requirement in tenders and supplier approvals. Until certification is issued, our quality commitments are set out in our Quality Policy.

COP 119, Provision of Labour (Security & Events)

Also known as NSI NCP 119

What it is, COP 119 is the recognised Code of Practice for the provision of labour to the security and events sector. It sets clear expectations for ethical, compliant and transparent labour supply. Audited requirements include verifying and monitoring SIA licences, security screening to BS 7858, adherence to Working Time Regulations, payment of at least the minimum wage and proper right-to-work checks.

Where we are: we already operate to the principles of COP 119, including SIA licence verification, BS 7858 screening and right-to-work checks for every officer, and we are working towards independent certification against the code. The certificate will be displayed here once awarded.

What it will mean for you

  • Assurance that the people working on your site are licensed, vetted and legally entitled to work.
  • Independent due diligence over the labour supply chain, protecting you from compliance risk.
  • Confidence that officers are treated fairly and lawfully, ethical labour you can stand behind.
The bottom line: independent proof that our people are properly licensed, screened, fairly paid and lawfully employed. See how we already do this on our Workforce page.
